“Bank of Ireland will not consider your mortgage application because you run a not-for-profit.”
How bloody lovely.
Congratulations on creating a system that rewards the worst of the worst and fucks over those striving to work for the common good. I, for one, wont be shedding a tear should it burn to the ground.
@aral This is also my experience (but with banks in Germany) when I started my small business years ago.
Banks will only lend you money if you have so much that you don't actually need the loan.
Because that is typical for banks, Bill G. is said to have said: "banking is necessary, banks are not".
