I try to stick to software development and engineering topics, often related to application development, but I also shitpost random stuff, occassionally about photography, (usually not more then) react to politics or economics.

OMG PLEEEEASE don't use "smart" patterns when everything else is direct and straigt forward! How the hell am I going to figure out your "strategy" and where it is from?
I really have a hard time when people overcomplicate things in software. Why the hell did you have to call it "doThingsWithAStrategy", and then made that strategy something abstract, when you have a clear and direct way of doing things directly and clearly?
Is Ryzen 5000 series too old already? I wanna modernize my workstation, but not sure if I wanna fork almost double for the 7000 series.
I don't get how social companies can sell user-generated content to AI companies, but when you want them to moderate the shit, "it's not our content, it's user-generated".
I kicked arses in OpenArena today!
My kids have been more into gaming and games. Part peer pressure, part it's time, they're almost 10.
And I know it's maybe too early, but today we installed OpenArena and played in LAN. I crushed them but they had soooooo much fun and after their daily-allowed 30 minutes, they can't stop discussing all the cool stuff you can do :)
