Bio
According to some, I'm avant-garde ;)
I try to stick to software development and engineering topics, often related to application development, but I also shitpost random stuff, occassionally about photography, (usually not more then) react to politics or economics.
My website is https://zlatko.dev but I less completely-infrequently post a photo or two to my photo gallery https://photos.zlatko.dev.
I also used to post at https://pixelfed.social/zlatko, and https://programming.dev/u/zlatko, and I'll occassionally swipe here and there.

Looking at a job ad, they want "an opinionated" person w.r.t. tech they use. My wife says, "oh yes, you're definitely very, very opinionated!".
Sorry, wife, I'll try to do better :)
P.S. anyone looking for people and paying a shitton? :)
Troll mining and some light sailing in #Valheim today.
Good to have kids, then you have a "justification" for playing games :)
Of course there is a subreddit for blurry pictures of cats.
Red balloon on water
Speaking of #Valheim, I saw some attempts at making a real-life Valheim-like shaqs in the woods nearby today :)
Well, we made a lil raft and immediately walled it off in a small highly protected bay :)
We're almost out of stone, but just digging around the fort brought us so much, we didn't even start with the second-layer moat :)
I ran into a huge bunch of furries yesterday, probably 50-60 of them, on a "suitwalk". I wasn't aware this was a thing. Anyway, seeing that huge group (in my small group that was coincidentally meeting there) was really great!
They're the "Münchner Furs", here's their website:
And since I'm posting photos from my vacation (not vacation photos, though, I believe there's a distinction), here are some more from Slovenia, this time from Postojna Cave:
Bled, Slovenia is a beautiful location to visit, if you're ever in the vicinity. Here are a few photos from my vacation in August:
A small heads-up to #KDE #Fedora users on #wayland:
This morning I upgraded to plasma 6.2. Since then I had the session fully freeze twice (I ssh'd in from another box and killed the kwin_wayland session, which crashed my session and unblocked my computer so I can work).
I don't know how much of that is @kde upgrade problem, or perhaps Fedora itself, or maybe something funky about Wayland. But if you have mission-critical work in the next few days, perhaps postponing the KDE upgrade is a good idea.
