Bio
According to some, I'm avant-garde ;)
I try to stick to software development and engineering topics, often related to application development, but I also shitpost random stuff, occassionally about photography, (usually not more then) react to politics or economics.
My website is https://zlatko.dev but I less completely-infrequently post a photo or two to my photo gallery https://photos.zlatko.dev.
I also used to post at https://pixelfed.social/zlatko, and https://programming.dev/u/zlatko, and I'll occassionally swipe here and there.

A thought that hit me when I strayed into news and politics or shit: possession is nine tenths of the law.
It goes equally for cloudflare sniffing passwords too do whatever they want (which may or may not be legal or ethical, I don't know, didn't read the details) as for the governments doing things that are illegal.
Laws are words on paper. It's proven time and again that you can twist them in many ways. It's nice to have them, but people in charge will be - or won't be - enforcing the laws.
Construction in progress of the lil' ole Valheim portal building. Not as pretty as the ones I saw them post, but it works for me :)

The boys and girls are sailing to an adventure :)
Me and the good boyos are on our way.

"Were multiple return values go's mistake?" asks someone on their blog.
I don't think so. Go's bread and butter are functions and data structures. Chunks of data in memory. And your functions operate on them. You pass in a few, you get a few others back, very, very natural.
It was wrong (it wasn't) so I corrected them (I didn't).
All in all, not a complete waste of time. At least I'll have at least one entry in 2025 in my blog :)
This is our little field in the plains. We're making quite good bread recently, and we even have some lox pie. (In addition to the 2 tamed lox :)
Putting the kids to sleep...in Valheim :)
