I try to stick to software development and engineering topics, often related to application development, but I also shitpost random stuff, occassionally about photography, (usually not more then) react to politics or economics.

Someone on Reddit, on the fujifilm sub, asked about filters in photos. I wondered if I had a good-enough examples that I would not be terribly ashamed of putting online, and what do you know, I'm really not ashamed to upload these.

This photo sucks - it's not focused, the composition is all wrong, nothing is good. But from my recent film roll (I shoot one per two years), it's the photo that I like the most :)

AltGr defeated another forsaken, and wanted something light to do. And since he wanted to build a new forge, an Artisan's table, he re-architected the front yard a little bit. Dressed it up in stone a bit, and moved the old toolshed.
I've never quite understand what “serverless” means but I think Deno are taking it too literally.

Interesting. If I play daily, I can get close to 1400 Rapid (on lichess, I suck). But if I don't play daily, I fall back down between 1300-1350.

@ruben_int, I ran into your issue of problems with upgrading gotosocial from 0.14.2 on their github. Something about failed migration, from which you can't recover later.
Did you ever figure out how to fix the thing?
Damn it, I'm stuck on an old version. The migration broke, and now my database works on the old version, but won't go to the new one. And since I yoloed, I don't have a backup with a good version.
I spent an hour trying to manually figure out which migrations failed.
Anybody else had a problem like that upgrading #gotosocial from 0.14.2 to 0.15?
