My kids' piano teacher is also a composer and he invited us to a concert where, among others, one of his pieces is also performed. A few fun things to note:
- first date in like two years I have with my wife is in a church
- when you're there just for music, the talks in between the music bits are more prominent if it's not in your primary language
- I miss singing in an a cappella group
- I listened Adam Neely too much and now see how much the "classical" music is influenced by a few long-dead Germans.
