#askfedi Who has blog posts of home network projects? I got a new home to play in, and I want wired internet as much as possible and need ideas :D
I remember those posts about people making 10gbit home networks and stuff - I don't need that exactly, but a nice 2.5 or at least 1gbit would be nice.

Chose 1gbit and connected every room in the house twice. But did not blog about it. 🤷♂️
@qwc why twice if I may ask? Also did you drill heavy floors etc?

Diagonal corners got a cat7 cable.
I got lucky with the house, there was a cable canal from bottom to top where i could put all cables in.
Was hell of a work, but worth it.
