I try to stick to software development and engineering topics, often related to application development, but I also shitpost random stuff, occassionally about photography, (usually not more then) react to politics or economics.

I lost a rook by mistake on move 22, but I'm so proud of the combo of this knight sacrifice at move 27, which led to an almost superior position, which led to a victory and checkmate by pawn :)

Hey #nodejs peeps, does anybody have a rough figure on #fastify/#expressjs on a production environment? I mean, if you replaced one for another a non-trivial setup (i.e. not just a crud, but a multi service environment with schedules and queues and REST and all), can you roughly estimate what changed?
Performance wise, did you gain or lose anything? How about development, did you have any big issues converting? Or later?
Great news, everyone! Apparently I've been complaining loudly and frequently about having to suffer the mac, and my boss said, "hey, I've secured a Windows laptop for you that you can convert into a Linux machine".
Using a mac is really a disruptive experience for me.
